Brilliant perennial filler…50cm tall stems covered in golden edged leaves spreading to form a mound  50cm wide – Frothy pinkie lavender flowers in Autumn add some late season pizzazz! Very easy to grow in most soils, in sun to part shade,  the easy going habit and filigreed foliage makes it a perfect plant to fill those gaps at the end of the main gardening season- it’s a great mingler!

Description

An autumn flowering, winter dormant perennial. A delightful little plant, essentially a variegated Aster. The lightly incised, lance shaped leaves, starting lime yellow, with a central green splash, and fading slowly to all green, clothe the much branched, wirey stems. Billowy masses of small, blue, daisy flowers are borne for an extended period in autumn, while the attractive foliage provides colour from spring onwards. A good ground cover, slowly forming colonies.Cut back to ground level in winter.
