Description

Distinctive for its gauzy white flowers with pale yellow stamens gracing sizable branched sprays, this classy clump-forming Thalictrum is grounded by finely divided, Aquilegia-style fresh green foliage. “Albums” delicate upright silhouette provides peerless texture-rich accents that effectively contrast bold-leafed plants such as Hydrangea in a mixed border. Thalictrum delavayi ‘Album’ is a slower growing cultivar with pure white flowers. The leaves are also a much lighter green. “Albums” needs rich soil & a subtle support in the form of surrounding plants or hazel branches. A desirable late summer plant for the shady border.
