A stunning selection of the Chinese Rodgersia pinnata, with foliage that emerges with a chocolate-purple edge (darker in a cool spring). The bold textured, 5-parted leaves make an architectural clump, topped in mid-spring with arching tall spikes of pink flowers.Prefers a moist soil in partial shade & will tolerate clay soils (full sun if enough soil moisture)
