Persicaria virginiana “Painter’s Palette”

A plant grown for it’s amazing leaf colours that are green with brown and ivory-yellow markings and an overall pink tinge. It seldom flowers in cultivation, but when it does the flowers are reddish-brown. Will grow in sun or semi-shade in most garden soils.
