‘Pink Pride’ is an upright, clump-forming, herbaceous perennial with deeply divided, palmate, toothed, dark green leaves and, from late spring to early autumn, erect, branching stems bearing umbels of bright pink flowers with prominent bracts. Makes an excellent cut flower and is attractive to pollinators

Description

Beautiful pincushion flower heads of candy pink appear on wiry stems above bright green palmate foliage throughout the summer. Astrantia ‘Pink Pride’ has a longer flowering period than many other varieties and thrives in woodland gardens, beside ponds and streams or in damp garden borders. Masterwort also makes an interesting fresh or dried cut flower.
