Description

I’ve been looking for a supplier of this Periwinkle for a while & finally here it is! This Periwinkle, also known as The Darlington Star is rather unusual & quite a rare variety. A brilliant plant for sun or shade, it spreads by arching stems which throw up lots of pointed starry dark violet flowers with mid green evergreen foliage. Flowers spring through autumn & grows to around 30cm tall, the spread indefinite. It will grow in any soil (even the heavy clay here at Lewis Cottage) & is good for dry/moist shade.
