New form of Sambucus, Whilst the young foliage is a deep red wine colour, the mature plant has a soft reddish brown foliage which has a well-defined pale midrib. Very broad heads of white flowers appear later than normal between July & September. Grows to a height of 2-3m.

New form of Sambucus, Whilst the young foliage is a deep red wine colour, the mature plant has a soft reddish brown foliage which has a well-defined pale midrib. Very broad heads of white flowers appear later than normal between July & September. Grows to a height of 2-3m. We are trialling this recent addition in the garden at Lewis Cottage this year so will post updates on its progress.
