Description

Rheum palmatum ‘Atrosanguineum’. A most dramatic, architectural, clump forming perennial plant with huge rhubarb leaves that unfurl darkest maroon Cherry coloured buds burst out of the bare soil in Spring giving way to sprays of rich pink flowers in summer. Perfect for pondside drama and bog plantings, but give it elbow room. Best planted 150cm apart in fertile, deep,moist soil.
