Description
While flower-arrangers love the posy-like heads of pale yellow flowers which burst through bare clay in early spring, this is a plant for landscaping with its large round leaves bearing yellow streaks and blotches and invasive roots, making impenetrable ground-cover in heavy soil, even in solid clay. Smaller than its “sibling” Pet.jap.gigantea, it is no less impressive.
