Description
Nandina Domestica Richmond commonly known as Heavenly Bamboo is a spreading evergreen shrub which has mid green lance shaped leaves which will turn a striking hot red colour in autumn months, making an impact when planted in groups.
- Position: Full sun or light, dappled shade.
- Soil: Moist, well drained, fertile soil. Not suitable for waterlogged areas.
- Hardiness: Reasonably hardy. Nandina domestica ‘Richmond’ requires protection from cold winter winds and may loose its leaves in a severe winter.
- Flowering Period: June – July.
