Description
The Shiny dark evergreen leaves of this low growing hardy herbaceous perennial provide luxuriant ground cover in deep shade. Insignificant Reddish purple flowers March-April. Ginger scented roots. A woodland plant at its best grown in moist leafy soil in shade.
