“Open all flowers” West country Weather article

Last July, we were delighted to welcome the crew from ITV West Country weather to the garden to film a short documentary about opening for the National Gardens Scheme (NGS).Not only were the crew a wonderful couple of chaps, there was also no doubt that following the airing of the piece on TV, the number of visitors that came to the garden that weekend increased substantially. It just goes to show that all publicity is good publicity, particularly when it means that charitable organisations like the NGS and the charities it supports such as Marie Curie, Macmillan Cancer Support and Perennial all benefit too!

“What a great piece. Amazing to see what you have all done to Lewis Cottage over the years. I remember my very first visit – not long after you bought it – well, and it is now almost unrecognisable. Much respect and admiration for all your hard work and dedication”

“It was great, we watched it this morning and felt inspired. x”

“Absolutely lovely! Well done you two. xx”

“They never do things by halves!!! Do you think they’ll let me chop down another tree?.x”

“Incredibly proud of you all and feel so privileged that Lewis Cottage is part of our lives too – thanks for all the wonderful memories past and still to come xxx”
