Primula Apple Blossom

Primula Apple Blossom is a vigorous candelabra type of primula, with whorls of flowers in a lovely soft pink (yes, apple blossom pink, it has to be said) with reddish pink centres crowded along the upright stems from late spring to mid summer. The spoon-shaped wrinkled leaves die back in winter. A beautiful variety which looks tremendous planted in a group. Best in light shade. Rich moist soil is best.

Product Description

A favourite with butterflies and bees, the Apple Blossom Primula produces attractive orange-pink whorls of flowers in a spherical shape with a red centre. Standing at a height of 60cm, these semi-evergreen perennials have contrasting deciduous foliage that make the flowers really stand out in borders and patio containers. Plant with contrasting colours of Primula to create a real talking point in the garden. Flowering from May to July, we recommend planting these herbaceous plants in well-drained, fertile soil and areas of direct sunlight where they will thrive.
