Product Description

The magellanica Fuchsias are native to much of South America. They are superb medium size, deciduous, shrubs with a slender and graceful arching habit.  Fuchsia magellanica var. Gracilis Aurea is especially striking with chartreuse yellow leaves and abundant crimson and purple pendulous, tubular flowers.  A lovely plant, easy to grow in a sunny or partial shade location.  Will grow in almost any moist, reasonably fertile soil that does not waterlog. Benefits from a hard prune in spring to encourage new growth.  Plant in the border, or use as a patio plant in pots and containers.
