Symphytum azureum also known as blue comfrey, or Caucasian comfrey also makes an excellent potash fertilizer for tomatoes and potatoes. Just steep cut leaves into a tub with water to make a very nutritious feed for all garden plants. It’s pretty nodding blue flowers will attract many beneficial insects to your garden and is mostsuitable for planting under shrubs or roses and looks well in a wildflower meadow
