Description

This selection of Meadowsweet, the “Queen of the Prairies” forms a sturdy, upright bush with a bold appearance & is a superb plant given the right place. Large heads or panicles of deep pink flowers appear in summer, against deep green lacy foliage. Stunning towards the back of a moist border, and especially nice at the waterside. Good for cutting. Plants should not dry out during the summer. Reduce the height of stems in early autumn after flowering to prevent wind rock during winter months.  Cut down to the ground in spring and apply a general fertiliser or compost mulch.  Stand back and watch it go!
