Introducing Bagshaw the Tibetan terrier

ImageSo, ahead of our featured article in Devon Life in June, I thought it would be good to introduce you to Bagshaw, our Tibetan Terrier.

Bagshaw joined the family in December 2012, aged 9 weeks,  from his home in Lincolnshire. He is the first dog we’ve had at Lewis Cottage and is a total delight and joyful addition to the Lewis Cottage family.

He is very much Michael’s dog and spends much of his time in his company wherever Michael might be (and yes he does sleep on his bed!) Bagshaw loves nothing better than visiting our guests staying at The Bothy for an early morning snack especially if they happen to have a dog with them too. What a life – new friends to meet every week!

Tibetan Terriers are a very old breed of dog and aren’t actually terriers in the true sense of the word, they’re simply the same sort of size.

Image 6In Tibet they are known as “the little people” and are renowned for their friendship and loyalty, something we can happily attest to.

In this picture Bagshaw is shamelessly advertising his favourite bedtime treats, Lily’s Kitchen bedtime snacks with camomile.

Naturally organic and yummy, Lily’s Kitchen was founded by dear friend Henrietta Morrison and her Border Terrier Lily.

If you’ve not come across Lily’s Kitchen before click on the link here http://www.lilyskitchen.co.uk or ask Bagshaw for a recommendation!
